Hi guys. i am desperate to find a Canon Eos 300 SLR camera.
Sorry it is a non dvd query but am in need of one urgently before i go away.

if you`ve ordered one at the cheap price, email the journos at www.theregister.co.uk and tell them about it, link http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/31/21676.html.
They`re always carrying stories about Web sites making this sort of cock up, and the sites often honour the cheap price to avoid getting the bad PR. Example was a bunch of people who recently got an Xbox bundle for about £300 cheaper.
They`re not legally obliged to honour the price, however, and are well within their rights to simply cancel your order if they like. Good luck.

it isn`t on, if they are stupid enough to put it up they should have to pay. But like the kodak cameras and all the other mistakes we will end up with absolutely nothing, but it was worth a try.

well that explains the low cost. The web page mentioned above is £1229 excl of VAT, and simplys web page is 229 exc vat. They have dropped the 1 by mistake

Afterburner lighting for the gameboy advance

I have been looking at getting a gameboy advance for my sorld travels later this year but have been put off by the "dark screen" problem.

Ok so you are playing one game and save.
Put in your old tetris game and have a quick play.
Then put the first game back in.
Will the GBA still have saved where you were on the game the last time you played it, even though you have played something else in the meantime

I am considering buying a GBA and would like to know if it remebers where you are in the game when you switch it off, like a memory card. I don`t fancy playing for two hours and then turning it off and having to start again
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Currys & Dixons are doing an offer of £195 for two games and an extra controller. Does anyone out there know any where cheaper??

you can`t do anybetter than the Sony HTK215 system. it looks far better than any other systems , is more than loud enough and the quality is second to none
It allows you to do all the things you mentioned.
I brought it 2 weeks ago after a hell of a lot of research and i am totally totally impressed.
It costs £350 from Currys etc or £270 (including delivery) from unbeatable.co.uk

Just one more thing (sorry) is an optical cable the same which ever make. There was one for £4 and one for £12 in the local store.

I have a toshiba 110e dvd and a the sony HTK215 theatre system.
The dvd player has a coaxial output and the amp has a digital input.
I believe there are convertors you can use, you plug the dvd coxial output in one side and run the digital line from the convertor to the amp.

Is this true? Will i then get Dolby Digital and DTS which my DVD can handle instead of just the Dolby Pro Logic as i currently have with a 2 jack connection

If so can someone please please please provide me with which one to buy (cheap is preferable) and where from. This has been driving me mad after poor advice from currys. Surprise suprise!!

I will be eternally grateful for any help in this matter
