Help please to make the hack for this machine work. I think I have followd all the instruction correctly but at the end when I put in the Disc it still states this disc cannot be played. Anybody got really simple idiots guide to make this work? Should I select region 2 or shoudl I select 9 for region free?

Mike I note from these pages that you seem to know quite a lot about Thomson DVDs. I have a Thomson DTH 4000 and cannot get the hack to work at all . I follow all the steps to the letter and the message I keep getting is this disk cannot be played. On the TV it shows NO DISC. My remote does have a repeat button written on it and I have used this button to no avail. What happens when I power it off is that when it is switched back on I have to power up from the standby button. Is this right. Haaave you an idiots guide to a successful hack for this machine. Should I be processing the machine to Region 2 or as a 9 to make it region free? Any help will be welcomed.

I have gone through the instructions given on the web site and also the instructions from the person who was kind enough to reply but to no avail. I cannot get this machine to play my DVDs. Anybody have any idea what I may be doing wrong.??????????? My kids are going crazy whoich in turn makes me crazy. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Help please to crack code. Info given in multi-REgion HAcks does not seem to work. What am I doing wrong. When it says power off player does this mean switch off at mains? I continued after this part wwith To convert this player to Multi-Region playback used code fopr region 2. Do you then press 9 for region free or 2 for region 2. When do you put in disc to play? Anybody have a real idot`s guide to how to make this work?
