ok to get the macrovision off:

them conect the dvd up to your video and if your dvd plays without jumping then your in luck.

look they is no macrovision hack for oritron 1030 i copy dvds through a decoder which fixes the disorted signals which was £30 pound if there is a computer fare next to where you live go there because thats the only place to buy them from its called Macro-Master.
Another solution is to download a macro program onto your computer from gamecopyworld and you can take away the macrovision off the discs you must have a dvd rom though.

pal means english so region 2 disks will play in colour ntsc means north america and canada and this should be selected when playing ntsc or choose auto and the dvd will (auto)matically play it in the format it should
the code i used for bush 2008 was
open/close
2,0,0,1
enter

ok the reason you are getting a b&w pic is because you must have pal selected on your menu ok to get colour
1 press menu
2 go to picture format
3 it will have pal ntsc and auto
4 select auto and the player will automatically play in colour

ok this is how you play vcds
Step 1 place a music cd in the play wait untill it loads
Step 2 then stop the disc
Step 3 Press menu,then 1,then the button right of the pause button the close
step 4 a menu should appear with enable vcd press 1
then it will play a 2.0 vcd player
Vcds may not work if they are avi must be a proper vcd format or divx
