RE: Sony DAVS300 & CDRs
I own the same system, and am very pleased with it.
If i recall it only plays DVDs and VCDs...........it doesn`t play CDRs or CD-ROMs (but can`t understand why anyone would want to play a CD-ROM).
If you have you had any problems or found out something that may be interesting, please let me know.
RE: DTS vs AC3 Opinions
I know that when you`re buy a film on DVD the cover states the type of format the sound has been recorded. Do you know if the covers on these films will state a DTS soundtrack or DD???
RE: Sony DAV-S300...a question!
Sorry, i`m not that advanced.
Cheers anyhow!!
RE: DTS vs AC3 Opinions
I heard that there is only one film so far that has been recorded with a DTS sound track and that is Jurassic Park.........which isn`t available on DVD yet. Shame cos my machine has both decoders and would love to hear the difference.
Sony DAV-S300...a question!
I am an owner of the above machine and have noticed at the front, just underneath the machine, there is what looks like a switch.
Does anyone have any experience of the above machine and if so, is it a switch????...or just a lump of dangling plastic?? There is no reference in the manual.
Any clues will be much appreciated.
Cheers.
