RE: Tevion 7" Twin Screen DVD - Model 3976 - Multi Region Code

Hi,

I just found this on another forum. It seems to be posted by someone from the Fascin8 support team and certainly works for me. I have the same bargain twin player you have so I guess this hack works on other tevion players too. Good luck

DVD`s are specific to the region where they are designed to be sold. In the UK our DVD`s are set to Region 2. You will find the region information on the back of your DVD case. When you receive your Tevion 6322 it is locked to Region 2 (UK & Europe). If you would like to unlock the DVD player so that it becomes multi-regional perform the following steps:

With the DVD player turned on, press the `Setup` button on your remote control, to enter the system menu.
Press the right arrow button on your remote control until you have the `Password Setup Page` displayed.
Then press `8888` using your remote control. This will subsequently display a `Region Code` screen.
Using the up and down arrows on your remote control you can specify the region you require. To enable multi-regional play we recommend setting the unit to: Region Code 0.
Press the `Enter` button on your remote control to confirm.

RE: Disney Full Frame Dvds - Is it worth it?

THe back of the Aristocats DVD says it is in it`s original release format. Surely that`s wrong though. IMDB definitely says 1.77:1 but also has been known to be wrong. Anyone know for sure ?

RE: Who here has Fawlty Towers Series 1 (R2)

Hmmmm. Doesn`t sound good then, but I`m certain I read somthing about The Beeb admitting a problem and recalling the faulty discs. Can`t remember where though.

RE: Arcam DV88 - Video pauses/audio blips

Hi Brendonw,

sounds like you have an early version of the firmware. Contact your dealer and check. I bought one of these great machines last year and was very disappointed until I upgraded the firmware. Now I have very few problems. Remember though that not all discs will play perfectly on all machines, however expensive. Disney are prime examples of discs that give all sorts of people problems.

Do not change your arcam. It has superb sound and pics when set up properly. Check the Arcam webstie for contact details and get in touch with them. they are very helpfula nd prompt.

Regards

RE: Who here has Fawlty Towers Series 1 (R2)

Hi,

Can anyone confirm that The Beeb have issued a recall on Series 1 ? I`ve had 3 different copies from 3 different suppliers and they all have the same problems on my Arcam dv88 :-( Am I gonna have to live with it ?

What about the 3 disc complete series 1&2 ? Does that have the same probs with disc 1 ? What about region 1 ?

Thanks

-Mat
