DVD region X software for playstation 2 -Does it cause problems?
I have a play station 2 and have just bought a DVD region x disc which will let me play import dvd movies -ie dvds from different regions. What I want to know is this: If this disc converts my playstation to multiregion, can some of the newer dvds which can `spot` multiregion hacks and then are programmed not to play -can they then stop my playstation 2 from playing even the usual region 2 discs that they should? (I`m in the UK)

Hack reqd for PACIFIC (brand) DVD player (UK)
This DVD player was bought in the UK and plays region 2 only (i.e. UK and Europe). Does anyone know of a hack to enable it to play region 1 also? Many thanks.
