I have bought a micro dvd system with surround sound code number above. It plays all formats apart from vcd. Does anybody know if I can hack the system to allow me to play vcd`s or not. Any info would be much appreciated.

ive bought a classic dvd player from toys r us for £99.87 but its a xmas present for my daughter so its not been opened yet. plays dvd, cd, cd-rw and mp3 but i would like to know if it is multi-region or if not any clues on a hack. i havent got a clue if its any good or not. advice would be much appreciated.
