will the Bush dvd av11k work the tv sound?

Can anybody help? I bought the Bush dvd player with 5.1 surround sound + speakers etc. Is there a way to have the TV /Sky sound using the surround sound system the TV has 2 scarts and a s-video sockets on it. Also a friends surround sound system auto mutes the TV can this be set on my Bush model?

Yep it was a cheap and cheerful blank from the local PC shop.
I will try better disk`s like the Ritek, and see if I get better results.
It has had me baffled till now, this has never happened before to me.

It is a Quote:
"backup copy" :) DVD that I tested on the player so you are right it could be the disk, but the backup copy does play on another dvd player that is region free and on a computer with powerdvd software.
any ideas?

I have tried this hack posted to me by Paris.

1. Open tray door.
2. Press the SETUP button
3. Press NEXT , PREV , NEXT , PREV
4. You will see "Ver 2" on the screen
5. Select 255 for Region Free
6. Press Setup Key to save settings.

However, It looks like it changes the settings of the player, but I still get an error saying wrong disk when I insert a region 0 disk the disk work fine on another multi region player. Any Ideas anybody?

Bush DVD 11k (from Safeway`s) "region free" wrong disk error.

Press set-up on the remote then on the front panel press stop prev next and up pops the factory set up menu go to region id and you have the choice of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and bypass(mulit region) it should also play RCE disks.

A very kind person posted the answer to all Naiko N2051 owners
Here it is in its full glory and it works!! (See forum Regional Hacks)

on handset..

press setup, stop,prev,next...

then use right cursor to move across to region panel, use down cursor to move to `bypass` press play
The press setup again to exit.
