Dansai 852 Macrovision and Region Hack *LOOK HERE*
Hi Guys
The hack for this player has been tested by myself after searching the net, and has been tried by quite a few people....
Press set-up on the remote
then on the front panel press

prev
next
and up pops the factory set up menu
go to region id and you have the choice of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and bypass
(mulit region) it should also play RCE disks.
There is also an option for macrovision on and off

Yes there is a hack for both region and macrovision
It also supports RCE disks
It is as follows;
Press set up on the remote
then on the front panel press;

next
and up pops the factory setup menu
go to region id and you have a choice of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and bypass (mulit-region), it should also play RCE disks
There is also an option called macrovision on/off
This has been tried on a couple of the Dansai players, and worked fine, also judging by the replies Ive had on some other forums, it is working with their players too.!!
