RE: Sony P92 Camera + Free 64Mb Memorystick

There was a similar offer from Amazon last month for the DSC P52 that came with 64MB Memory stick for total £179. The cheapest anywhere else on the web was around £200 without the memory stick...

RE: Godfather rilogy on DVD - Less than £25!!

Oops - I meant to say throw out G3!!!!!

RE: Godfather rilogy on DVD - Less than £25!!

What it means is they hacked them up, putting the flashback sequences that appear particularly in G2 (Robert De Niro as the young Vito) at the beginning of the first disc. So the whole thing plays as one linear story told in a simple timeline.

Bit of a gimmick and IMO this ruins the whole experience. On a par with Star Wars ANH SE where Greedo shoots first dammit!!

My advice, get the set with the original films in their original form and throw out G2.

RE: Argos So-So Easter Sale (£0.00)

Ask yourselves this; "if i was a retailer/website/whatever, would i give my products away when there`s no legal imperetive to do so?". The answer is NO. Just like Argos and whoever else, you`d be out to make money and turn a profit.

Stop whinging - you should have learned by now that nothing is free. The world does not owe you a living (or anything at all for that matter).

RE: Philips 8cm CD MP3 Player for £30 at Amazon - Bargain!

No clip. Which meant it couldn`t go on my utility belt with the shark repellent and grappling hook. So I put it in my pocket instead.

Don`t you have any pockets?

RE: Philips 8cm CD MP3 Player for £30 at Amazon - Bargain!

I, and a mate, ordered from Amazon on Monday and we both got them yesterday morning. The sale ends on the 19th so you`ll have to be quick.

Someone asked about burning the disks. I`ve been using a regular CDRW drive. If you open the tray on the drive, you`ll usually see an 8cm recess in the tray within the standard recess for regular sized CDs. You just sit the disk in there and close the tray. Then just use whatever package you use for burning CDs.

I read that 8cm CDs can cause a problem for the slot loading style drives (i.e. no tray). For example on the iMac. So bear that in mind.

I`ve now burned a whole bunch of disks and am pretty pleased with the results. Four albums on each disk dude!

I got my disks from blankdiscshop.co.uk - went for the CDRW`s at about a quid a pop. Delivered next day.
