RE: Sony 536d - SVCD playing and VCD playing

On checking the manual it means the disc is dirty, which it quite clearly isn`t! So how the hell do i get it to read SVCDS!!!

Sony 536d - SVCD playing and VCD playing

Ive been playing around with my DVD player, its not chipped but soon it will be i hope.

I wish to play SVCD and VCD, i have succesfully managed to play VCD by writing the film to a Sony CDRW at 4speed.

I find if i do an SVCD, i get a message saying SuperVCD at the top and then it just says in the bottom right C16:00 or something and thats it.....

What does this mean, is it some kind of clock or something?????

Why won`t it play SVCDS on a Sony CDRW, burnt at 4x!!!

Anyone help would be very gratefully received.

Cheers

Rich

RE: Sony DVPS735D Hack?

£50 for that!!!!!!!! well thats interesting, so why hasn`t this "hack" leaked out????

RE: Sony DVPS735D Hack?

But according to your site Steve.....it has a chip for sale for £25. But then when you goto get it fitted its a MAGIC fitting, which requires no soldering to your machine (therefore i would have thought thats a remote hack) So there must be one.

Any ideas now?

Sony DVPS735D Hack?

Dear All,

New on this forum but know this site is wonderful! I have been reading the extensive thread on the Sony DVD players and i am little confused.

I have just bought the Sony DVPS735D, Is it possible to get this hacked for multi region? apparantly you can get a chip for it, but other people say it is possible to remote control hack it. Can anyone confirm what the status is!?

I would be VERY grateful if someone can help.

Let me know ASAP guys and gals! :)

cheers peeps!
