RE: LIDL £99 DVD,CD,MP3,CDR+RW,VCD,should i buy ??
Like Deanos75, I too have seen the Lidl`s flyer offering this £99.00 Player from Thursday, 1Nov.
Have noted the comments from others, especially the absence of m/r hack.
Surely some genius mustknow if there is one, but please hurry, Thursday is approaching damn quickly.
Thanks Gerry.

£99.00 Dvd player at Aldi!!
Just popped into my local Aldi store to check on next week`s specials
(on sale from next Thursday, 1 Nov).
Top of their page is DVDplayer for £99.00
Spec. is quoted as:- DD + 5.1 decode; plays DVD,CD,MP3, CD-R,
CD-RW and is PAL/NTSC compatible. includes 1.5M scart cable & 1.5M cinch (what`s this??) connection cable, is offered in black and silver, all with a 2year guarantee to wrap up the package.
The ad. on their weekly flyer shows a `SM Electronic` logo. Does mean anything to you fountains of knowledge ??
Any comments would be welcomed, thanks
Home Cinema Systems
Have been looking at Pan HT70; JVCTh-9R;PioneerNS-DV55;LG DA-3520
et al.
Have now dropped on PioneerDCS100 (at homecinemaheaven.co.uk).
I realise this appears to be less powerful than the above, but does anyone outhere know anything about it -- or indeed any comments about my other thoughts.
I`m just a (old) beginner so please excuse my ignorance but I`ve got to make a purchase decision before much longer --or would after Christmas be a better time to buy??
RE: Buying a new 32
If you like the 32PK25, try boselectronics.com (01895 636638), Mr Bos offered me £799
This was part of my quest for a decent widescreen plus good audio (but without breaking the bank. The audio mate I was considering was an all-in-one job, such as the Pan. HT80 or Pioneer NS-DV55 or LG Da3520 or JVc TH-A9R,etc
Alternatively, a really good looking, well-spec`ed TV -the Pan 28PG45 or the 32PG50 with an adequate but matching DVDplayer i.e Pan RV31
Has an one any advice for a novice?? please....
