RE: Wharfedale 750 + Videologic Digitheatre DTS

Got them connected via coax. Also tried an optical lead, but to no avail.

I think the digitheatre is superb. The sound quality with DD is astonishingly good. The bass is verry good - very clear. The full spectrum of sound is quite impressive. Had absolutely no luck with the Wharfedale, and a guy from a newsgroup told me he had the same problem with the WDale and Digitheatre DTS - he tried a Pioneer player instead and the DTS worked fine. So I`m currently looking around for a sub-200 quid player that is multiregion and does DTS. My go for a Scan if I can get my hands on one.

Wharfedale 750 + Videologic Digitheatre DTS

Hi everyone,

I`ve just splashed out on a Videologic Digitheatre DTS and have been using it just for Dolby Digital so far, but I got `Saving Private Ryan DTS` Region 1 delivered the other day and cannot get the DTS working. I know that the W`dale 750 is supposed to output a DTS signal, even though it does not say it on the player or in the instructions (it says so on the website and its only a bitstream like DD5.1 anyway).

Can anyone shed any light on this? I`m dying to hear DTS in action, but all I get at the minute is silence!

Cheers.
