MACROVISION FOR LG 3200 via remote control

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to disable the macrovision via the remote control on a LG DVD-3200E player. Or is the only way to buy a mod chip or external macrovision remover????

Cheers

STEVE

RE: AVOID www.cheapesttv.co.uk AKA T.V.s DIRECT

These TV.s have definately been used before as i tried to change the PIN number for digital access, but it had already been changed.

RE: Anyone bought from TVs Direct or Eurogold?

I have, avoid cheapesttv AKA T.V.s DIRECT at all costs. Check out my long report in retailer reviews. Don`t know about Eurogold but i`m not chancing it.

AVOID www.cheapesttv.co.uk AKA T.V.s DIRECT

If your tempted by the cheap prices of this company, don`t be. I thought i`d give them a whirl and the set i recieved wasn`t the one i ordered, and it had major faults according to Hitachi, but according to their customer service i had set it up wrong.
They where obviously trying on the old trick of getting me to send it back and miraculously finding no faults and charging me for the postage. I might be laid back but i`m no fool!!!!!!!! After writing a letter quoting Sale of Goods Act they appear to be refunding me without a problem.
If anyone is not put off by this may i recommend you use a credit card to make your purchase!!!!!!
If you recieve any faulty goods do not ask for a repair or you are deemed to have accepted the goods and if it continues to go wrong you can then only have further repairs as far as i know. I could be wrong though so check it out.

HAPPY SHOPPING!!!!

RE: Buying a new 32

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a recommendation, but avoid www.cheapesttv.co.uk at all costs AKA T.V.s DIRECT. I thought i`d take a chance on one of their sets and it didn`t pay off. The set i got was totally useless with at least two major faults, and their service department just tell you you`ve set it up wrong when your recieving failure codes telling you to contact service. Luckily i bought it on a credit card!!!!

RE: Changing your details at DVDimport

I`ve been told it can take upto six weeks as my first order hadn`t arrived, but it did after about five weeks.
They f***ed up my second order but after i sent an e-mail to them i recieved a personal telephone call within one hour and my e-mail and my disc should now be on it`s way, we shall see.
If it arrives i`ll try them again.

P.S. IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO ORDER A LARGE AMOUNT OF DISCS. BETTER ONE AT A TIME I THINK UNLESS YOU KNOW THE COMPANY DELIVERS OK!!!!!!!

RE: Digital camera @ Lidl

Sounds good. I`ll be checking it out. Cheers roger!!!!

RE: Confussed about DVDImport Pricing

Phoned Barclaycard last night and they said i should be able to make a claim assuming i don`t get the disc first. I`ll let you know in this thread what the result is, and how easy it is if successful. Could be some time though.
It`s now 19th October and i sent an e-mail to dvdimport. Not through my account. I recieved a personal call direct from Canada within one hour. Don`t know if it`s because i told them i was involving my card company but i was quite impressed. They have advised me my disc has been sent, we shall see.
It also turns out they did not respond to my previous contacts as my order appeared to be blank and their system won`t process messages from blank accounts.
Think i`ll use them again as everyone deserves a second chance to get it right!!!

RE: Confussed about DVDImport Pricing

I`ve used DVDBOXOFFICE for some time and have always recieved my discs within three weeks. I recently ordered "Leon" on 8/8/2001 from DVD IMPORT and it arrived four weeks later and i thougth OK i can live with the delay for a good price. I then ordered "Point Break" on 28/8/2001 and am still waiting, they charged my account on that day and the order is still pending and is now shown as a blank order. They`ve obviously totally screwed it up. So far they have totally ignored all my e-mails and i`m returning to DVDBOXOFFICE unless they get their act together and sort my order. Does anyone know if this counts as fraud and if i can claim off my credit card???????
