Philips 701 DVD multi-region conversion

After reading and trying various methods of converting from R2 to R1, covering the one-for-all controller, and the Aldi remote, can one of you kind lovely people please point me in the right direction for the coding when I use the Aldi remote, (which looks like a nice piece of kit) so that I can start watching R1 discs.

Multi Region Philips DVD
Can any body help.......
After obtaining the codes to make my Philips DVD (701) into a multi region unit, I rushed out down to the local Aldi store to purchase one of there universal rremotes.
The question I have is how do i use this in the place of the One-for-all controllers, does anybody know the code needed to get the 12 dashes.
Please help.........
HELP !!!!!!!!!!! PHILIPS 701 DVD HACK
Can any of you lovely people out there in the great land of DVD assist a DVD virgin.
I`m trying to make the player multi-region, I`ve printed off the codes (222 222 ....... ....) but cannot get started, as I don`t possess the One-for-all controller.
Is it possible to go multi-region from the philips remote only.
Please help.........
