seen this player for sale on unbeatable for £239 - this is a multi-region player and as it is philips it should be R.C.E playable - as far as others are concerned consider the pioneer 545 - but i dont care about others as i will be purchasing one of the Q50`s next week- after extensive searching for the ideal player for my needs.the Q50 usually retails for £400 so the price is great and all reviews i`ve seen say the player is faultless- go for it!

HIFIBITZ.NET have this player in silver or black for £180- the cheapest i`ve seen as far as i know it`s macro-disable-able and multi region and RCE playable
HOW TO MAKE HITACHI DV-P250e play region encoded disks
bought a hitachi dv-p250e 20 months ago- was supposed to be multi region playable (paid extra for this!) recently bought my first american disc and found out it won`t play it. -will get in touch with the company next week, but it`s the weekend and if they get funny i`d like to know how to go about it.
NEED A DVD PLAYER TO PLAY DVD-R ETC
I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NEW I-MAC WITH SUPERDRIVE AND I CAN MAKE MY OWN DVD`S , UNFORTUNATELY I DON`T THINK MY DVD PLAYER WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY THEM- ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS AS TO THE BEST PLAYER OUT THERE TO PLAY DVD-R`S , CD-R`S AND CD-RW`S AND ALL THE OTHER BITS AND BOBS?
