It`s ur PS2 matey, probably not ur TV!! I have a DVD player Phillips 622 and a PS2!! Now my DVD player plays disc from all regions with NTSC with no probs!! Now i recently bought a disc to unlock my PS2, however, although it unlocked the regions, it only plays discs in black and white!! I beleive the PS2 transmits a weeker signal than a normal DVD player in regard to NTSC so u will need to use a newer TV that can translate it better!! If u bought a NTSC DVD player u will probably have no probs on ur TV if u have a scart connection at the back!!!

You are best waiting a while b4 u buy Leon!!! There is an uncut international vesion available in America with an extra 22mins included in the film and it`s a much better film for it!!! That`s probably why they are selling them off cheap so they arn`t lumberered with them when it gets released here!!!

Best horror movie of all time is without doubt Texas Chainsaw Massacre!!! Hardly any blood or guts but terrifying to say the least!!!!
For a gore fest though then it`s got to be the Evil Dead trilogy!!! Great stuff!!! Salems lot scared the sh*t out of me when I was a kid, but is now sadly a bit dated!!!

By looking at other forums I noticed that by using the same hack as the other Philips models (RC6) with the universal remote is supposed to work!!! I have not tried this yet as I need to get a new remote, but the person who stated this on a different forum said he had no problems!!!!
But if anyone knows of any easier ways I would also like to know!!! Also, any hack for disabling Macrovision, anyone????

Free does mean multi-regional!!! But be carefull, as I rented out Castaway and this is RCE protected!!! This means that it will not play on region free machines only on its specific region code!!! I got halfway thru watching it on region free then it froze up!!! After removing the disk and trying others in its place nothing woulg register, not even a cd!!! This may have had something to do with it but may only be coincidental!!!
