Heading says it all really, does anyone know of a multi region hack for a Ferguson DVD-3050 please???

Fancy buying a new DVD from Play to watch this weekend, just in that wanna buy something mood, anyone reccomend a good one???
Normally like a good action movie, not a slow story type. Was fancying Equilibrium or The Recruit, any others anyone can reccomend? Equilibrium is looking favourite at the min but it is £17.99!!!

I own a PS2 but have just bought the Xbox+splinter Cell+ halo bundle and I`ve got to say thses two games knock the spots off the PS2, Iv`e played and completed MGS2 but splinter cell is much better. As for Halo, simple, it`s the best game I`ve ever played on any console! Hope this helps.

excuse my ignorance but what possibilities are there by having a DVD writer on a PC, what could I do with it? Dell PC`s are offering a free upgrade to one at the moment and I was just wondering how usefull it would be.

Anyone Heard of This??? - Sony special remotes

My mate has a sony dvd player ( don`t know which model) and he cannot hack it for multi region but he has been told that a shop in Newcastle can do it for him using some sort of remote control which can unlock his player. Anyone heard of this method and/or if it works???

Yes your`e right, I feel stupid now cos it was obvious because the TV is a TV/VCR combi so it will be a macrovision problem.

DVD Playback on my PS2

Can anyone help me please, My PS2 plays fine on my main TV downstairs but on the bedroom portable it keeps going bright then dark during DVD playback( no problem when playing games). The TV has a scart but it is not a stereo TV and I connect it up using the lead provided with the PS2 which is composite connectors( i think, its the red, yellow and white connectors) plugged into the scart adapter thing provided.I`m playing region 2 discs and I`m not using DVD Region X . Is it just that the bedroom TV cannot handle DVD??
