RE: Anyone have last months whatvideotv?
Yes i did it is not on there, hence my question here
The reviews seem to take a while at the moment to get onto the websites and i wanted to order it.
I didnt really want to have to pay £3 for back dated article copy as this can take upto 28days.
I guess i am just going to have to wait until they put the review online then as no one here seems to want to help.
cheers

RE: Remove macrovision from both sky and dvd with one cable?
Not sure i think it is just a case where you can fix up your scart cable.
The issue i hav, is i want to be able to record from both sky (boxoffice) and from dvd with macrovision removed, what about you?, you just want it for dvd?.
I wonder how many people have one of these cables and if they also have it set up so they can record form both sky and dvd using this macrovision cable?, I guess my other alternative is to buy 2 of those cables, and put them directly: one from sky to vcr and the other dvd to vcr, but id rather just get the one.
advice anyone?

Remove macrovision from both sky and dvd with one cable?
Currently have:
Dvd player (tosh210e) connected to tv via component
Sky connected to tv via rgb scart
I am about to buy a vcr (tosh v851 - 3 scarts) and am also going to buy a macrovision remover scart cable:: (http://www.sonel.com/mac2.htm)
I want to use this sonel scart macro remover cable to record to my vcr from BOTH my sky box and dvd player.
Questions:
1) Is the only way to do this is have some sort of converter box with 2 scart sockets coming into it ( for sky+dvd player) and 1 socket out (to plugin my macrovision cable in?.
2) Am i likely to have a problem with quality using this method. I am first going through a scart splitter then into a scart cable which i suspect is more designed to remove macrovision than it is on quality.
3) Is there another way of doing this that i have missed?.
TIA
