Your Opinions and Comments
Heat was outstanding and The Insider is excellent. Based on a true story, Russell Crowe is the informant and Al Pacino is the 60 Minutes Producer who wants his story, both are fantastic.
No extras, but the picture was good. Brilliantly directed and acted a must-see.
Disc: Great quality picture and sound. Only extra is a 7 minute featurette, but it`s pretty good with short interviews with the real Jeffrey Wigand and Lowell Bergman (the main characters)
A very powerfull and revealing film based on a true story with great performances from Pacino and Crowe
Video
Not anamorphic but still good quality
Audio
Used well with the music score which is very good
Features
Just a production featurete which is not too bad, but needed more extras
Overall
A good film which is once again let down by a lack of extras
The disc is fine in the video and audio departments, but let down by shockingly poor extras. While the short featurette we get on the film is above average, and I would go so far as to say, very interesting (mainly due to the inclusion of interviews with the real Wigand and Bergman) - this is far too little! We want more!
