Synopsis:
After 25 years, Colonel Hyde`s unblemished army service career was abruptly ended by enforced "retirement". He resented his country`s ingratitude. Before bidding farewell however, he spent some time in the Records Department and left armed with some very useful information. It was over a year later that his plan was ready. He had to be totally satisfied that nothing had been overlooked in his preparations for Operation Golden Fleece, a bank robbery. After consulting his Army Records notes, seven names were selected and sent an invitation to lunch, and the League of Gentlemen came into being. Their achievements would not meet with society`s approval. Already the forces of law and order were closing the net...
