Synopsis:
Richard Clayton (Ron Livingston) is a successful psychiatrist with an upper-class professional life, looking forward to his impending marriage to his fiancee Ellen (Neve Campbell). When he discovers that he was adopted, he sets out to find his biological parents, but is shocked to discover that his real parents Frank (DeVito) and Agnes (Bates) are boorish, crude white trash.
