Synopsis:
Android J was secretly built by the government as a special agent to combat crime in the oceanic city nation of Judoh. But while J initially appears to be human, the illusion quickly disappears in clouds of scorching steam when he goes into action. Together with his human partner, Daisuke Aurora, J works for the city`s Special Forces Unit, a branch of the City Safety Management Agency responsible for detecting signs of possible future crimes.
Identity theft, murder and missing explosives are just a few of things Daisuke and J are called upon to investigate in the second volume of Heat Guy J episodes. As ever, each time they are given a new case, the clues initially lead them in one direction before heading back to those closest to them. Meanwhile, the city of Judah has banned all movement in and out of its environs. The resulting hostilities between the illegal immigrants in the slums, the trapped citizens and the ultra-elite privileged class are about to reach boiling point, proving that behind the Utopian façade Judah is a city ready to erupt in violence.
