What a great surprise!
I initially thought this series won`t differ that much from the rest of the detective-style series already around. But boy, was I surprised.
Everything works great in the series - the cast, the hip editing, and most of all - the stories.
The video transfer is very good. There are no compression signs at all and the picture is crystal clear.
The DD 2.0 soundtrack is good, too. The sound envelope (although only DD 2.0) is quite impressive and adds a lot to the atmosphere.
The menus are nicely animated with sound.
The extras include a commentary, a behind the scenes featurette and deleted scenes for most of the episodes.
Bottom line - this is a great series and the 4 double-sided disc do it justice. Recommended.
