Synopsis:
When Sam (Culkin) continually gets picked on by the school bully, he and his protective older brother decide to teach the bully a lesson he will never forget. Together, they come up with a plan that involves inviting the bully on a special river trip for his birthday where they will make sure he is humiliated for all to see. Deciding that he no longer wants to go through with the plan, Sam tries to call it off but it`s too late and he must live with the resulting consequences.

This little gem of a movie was a really nice surprise for me. No famous actors play in it, but still, it just goes to show, that with a good script, even rather unknown actors can do a great job. And they do.
The movie tells the story of a group of teenagers, going on a revenge trip. I somehow managed to find qualities in this movie, that are similar to the qualities found in "Stand By Me". Just.
The video transfer is very good. There are no scratches nor blemishes and the colors are nicely saturated.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is also good. The surrounds are used, occasionally, but the emphasis is on the dialogues.
The menus are still an silent.
The extras include a commentary by the crew and a picture gallery. That`s it. I think such a great movie could`ve done much better.
Bottom line - an excellent movie with some fine performances by a rather anonymous cast. Recommended.
