Synopsis:
Blake (Michael Pitt) is the leader of and the driving force behind one of the biggest rock bands on the planet. But fame is taking its toll on Blake and, beset by demons, he is slowly buckling under the pressure of his responsibilities to the band, his record label and the fans. Rarely emerging from the faded elegance of his mansion, he has cut himself off from the hangers-on, the parasites and users who once haunted his every waking moment. Hiding even from his friends, and refusing offers of help, Blake descends ever deeper into the chaos of depression and indecision until eventually he realises he has only one way out...
Inspired by the last days and final hours of the iconic Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, award winning director Gus Van Sant`s acclaimed movie tells the mesmerising story of a soul in transition.
