Synopsis:
A pair of impoverished conmen, siblings Yipao (Yuen Biao) and Taipao (Leung Kar-yan), finally meet their match when they are outwitted by their latest potential victim, a skilled martial arts master (played by Shaw Brothers legend Lau Kar-wing). Impressed by his skills and keen to learn the secret of his talents, they pester him to accept them as his students. But their new master has a darker past than they could possibly have imagined and Yipao and Taipao`s loyalties are tested to their limits when it is revealed they are the unwitting students of a ruthless killer. A tragic confrontation between master and apprentice leads one brother to employ the unlikely assistance of a kung fu fighting beggar (Sammo Hung) in seeking his revenge.
