A cute (yet childish) fantasy about so-called "true love".
This was easily one of the most romantic teenage movies of its time, and the romance remained over the years.
The video transfer (for both the widescreen and the cropped fullscreen versions) is good. While there are no compression signs, the picture is not clear of defects and several scenes look a bit out of focus.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is somehow flat. The surrounds are barely used and the sound envelope isn`t that great.
The menus are animated with sound.
The disc offers no extras at all.
Bottom line - a nice and romantic story for kids and teenagers to enjoy, but, alas, a below average disc.
