What a nice surprise - an excellent movie.
I`m no Kevin Costner fan, that`s for sure, but there is simply not a single bad thing I can say about this movie.
Though the movie is categorized as an "Adventure" type, it is also a bit of drama and sci-fi. The sad thing is, that this movie might become true in the near future.
The transfer is simply amazing. The visuals in the movie are so stunning and Warner made sure that the transfer is flawless. And it is. Perfection.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is excellent as well. The usage of the surrounds is mostly noticeable during the gunshot scenes and the galloping scenes.
The production notes are very extensive and give you a lot of the ideas behind the movie. Very well put.
The CG section is also very nice.
All in all, a great movie. Trust me - its three hours running time will pass instantly. Don`t miss it.
