Synopsis:
All 22 episodes from Series One of `Kojak`, the ground-breaking 70`s cop show starring Telly Savalas as Lieutenant Theo Kojak - street smart, lollipop sucking, abrasive, independent minded New York detective. With Dan Frazer as his long-suffering boss Captain Frank McNeil; Kevin Dobson as the always on call, and seemingly always being shouted for, Detective Bobby Crocker; George Savalas, Telly`s real life brother, as the ever donut-eating but sharp minded, Detective Stavros; Mark Russell as Stavros` partner, Detective Saperstein and Vince Conti as Detective Rizzo.

Featuring fine scripts and terrific acting `Kojak` became an overnight success on both sides of the Atlantic and ran for 5 seasons. Always quick to spot up and coming talent some of Hollywood`s best actors cut their teeth on this series. In Season One we see early perfomances from - Harvey Keitel, Hector Elizondo, James Woods , John Ritter and Paul Michael Glaser. Plus guest appearances from James Keach, Jose Ferrer, Ned Beatty, Scatman Crothers and Dabney Coleman.
