A very good thriller about a writer fighting an accusation of plagiarism (among other things).
Depp gives a superb performance as the loner writer, as does Turturro as the accuser.
The video transfer is very good. There are no compression signs to be seen and the picture is clear of any defects.
One cannot ignore the seamlessly continual shot during the first scene - both very impressive visually and symbolic as well.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is very good, too. The surrounds are constantly used and help increase the freight meter in many scenes.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include a good commentary by the director, 4 deleted scenes (including an alternate ending), 4 storyboards and an hour long behind the scenes featurette.
Bottom line - a very good thriller, great performances and a good disc to top it all. Enjoy!
