Synopsis:
On the surface, the Porters are a normal family - even the series` title 2 Point 4 Children alludes to their normality (as well as the fact that the husband/father is still a bit of a child himself). Yet, though the individual members` (central-heating engineer Ben, his wife, catering worker Bill, and their teenage children David and Jenny) are unexceptional, the situations in which the family find themselves are anything but. Bad luck, strange occurrences and poor judgement all conspire to turn the Porters` world topsy-turvey.

GREAT START TO A GREAT SITCOM!!!
The very first Series of the, what i like to call a bizzarre but brilliant sitcom. The first series is a bit odd, and does take a bit of getting use to, however once you settle into it you will fastly take a liking to it i`m sure. Indeed, series 2 and 3 are much better, and the series does get better as it goes along, but the first series is still good. You will be amazed at how real this sitcom actually feels, and is like watching a mirror of everyday family life spiced up with surreal situations. As well as been very funny, the series isn`t what it seems, and has a very edgy dark side, which puts a twist into a sitcom that will surprise you. The characters are very good, which are truely lovable, and if you havn`t seen this supreb sitcom yet, see it! Packed full of witty humour, edgy suspense and twists, makes this excellent British sitcom breaking any rules a sitcom structuire ever had!. Excellent! Start buying the first three series on dvd, packed with extras and specials, series 4 is out in march. Series 1- A great start to a series that natural just gets better and better, and lasted 8 years!.
