Synopsis:
It is the height of the Mexican Revolution and a gang of bandits led by the charismatic El Chuncho (Gian Maria Volonté) are supporting the cause by stealing weapons and selling them on to rebel General Elias (Jaime Fernández). During a daring raid on a heavily armed train, a mysterious blonde gringo, Bill Tate (Lou Castel), surprisingly assists the bandits by killing the driver and stopping the train. Nicknamed `Nino` by El Chuncho, Tate manages to insinuate himself into the gang, which also includes El Chuncho`s brother and crazed priest, El Santo (Klaus Kinski), and the beautiful but deadly revolutionary, Adelita (Martine Beswick). Your Opinions and Comments

8 / 10
Solid Sphagetti Western, a classic among non-Sergio Leone films of this kind. Lou Castel and Gian Maria Volonte are always great. The Film Elements are in good Nick. Like most Italian films from this era, the sound will be hard to restore...
