Synopsis:
After robbing their teacher on their last day at school in the fishing district of Osaka, Ryoko gets a job in a hair salon, while the two boys settle down to a career of enforcement and protection in their industrial town...

A Miike film that is to a degree autobiographical, `Young Thugs - Innocent Blood` follows three school friends through their first year after leaving, each trying to make their own way in a large and multi-faceted world full of violence, sentiment and humour.

The second film of the `Kishiwada Shonen Gurentai` (Boys Be Ambitious) series of rites-of-passage tales from Osaka life.
