This is without doubt one of the best Bond films as it is one of only a few that stick close to the original Fleming novel.
The plot follows Bond as he helps a russian agent defect and at the same time aquires a top secret decoding machine the Lektor. However this turns out to be all part of a plan masterminded by Spectre to get the Lektor and kill Bond in revenge for him murdering Dr. No in the previous film.

All though not bursting with action there is some very well edited fights including one at a gypsy camp and a real classic aboard the Orient Express between Bond and Spectre assasin `Red` Grant played with true menace by Robert Shaw (Jaws).

The extras on this disk are all of good quality as has been the case with many of the Bond collection.
On the whole a very good entry in the series.

Connery's 2nd outing as bond, his personal favourite - and generally another great 007 movie! Once again, the disc has been given some great treatment. Considering the age of this film (it's almost 40 years old) video particularly and also audio are impressive… not outstanding by today's standards, but nonetheless impressive!

As with all the series, we're treated to some great extras as well. 2 documentaries, one on the film itself and the other on producer Harry Saltzman - both of which are well produced and essential viewing for any Bond fan (although they probably won't be subjected to repeated viewing). We also get a commentary compiled from the cast & crew as well as the usual trailers, TV & radio spots and photo gallery.

Overall, another great disc - essential purchase for any bond fan.

This is one of the best Bond Movies ever made. There is a lot of good parts in it like when 007 fights with Red Grant on the Orient Express and uses Q`s latest gadget to kill him. Also when the SPECTRE killers are chasing Agent 007 in their boats and a lot of fuel drops out and seconds later he pretends to give up and shoots at the water and a fire goes up all over the enemies. The DVD has a lot of features, An audio commentary, documentries and trailers and a lot of other things. 9/10
