Synopsis:
Prehistoric B-movie madness from director Roger Corman. Robert Vaughan (The Man from UNCLE) stars as "The Boy" - the son of the leader of a prehistoric tribe which live in a desolate valley. The Boy and his spear-carrying fellow tribesmen head into the Forbidden Area in search of fresh game. One by one, the intrepid hunters are killed off by quicksand and murderous mutated beast from beyond the mountains. Despite being exiled by his tribe for venturing into the Forbidden Area, The Boy is compelled to return to the area, risking life and limb. Here he learns the horrible truth of the Valley`s history from a strange creature that kills with its touch, a 500 year old scientist in a radiation suit. The surprise ending is heralded by the words the beginning...
