Content: Set 3 years after the first movie, we find Nanahara, one of the survivors of the first movie, has formed a group called The Wild Seven who has declared war on the government and the adults who support the BR Act. In response to this, the government create the BR 2 Act. which changes the game slightly by sending a class of Junior High School Students to an island, but not to kill each other this time, to kill Nanahara and Wild Seven instead. Each student has had a exploding collar put on them again but this time they are linked to a partner so if their partner dies their collar explodes. Also this time the students are given guns instead of a random weapon :)

Video: Presented in 1.77:1 Anamorphic Widescreen. The picture is very good, the colours are good and the detail is pretty high, not to soft. The Subtitles are nice and easy to read also.

Audio: Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Japanese, Dolby Digital 5.1Japanese and dts 5.1 Japanese. All sound great but the dts track sounds the best. The bass from the explosions really booms and the gun fights sound sweet.

Extras: Trailers for Battle Royale 1 and 2 and some other Asian movies, Director Bio, Director Statement and a 4 page collectors book with film notes.

Overall: Great movie ( not as good as the first, but still great ) on a great disk ( thanks to dts ) only let down slightly by lack of extras. Still well worth watching.
