Synopsis:
In Blake Edward`s The Party, Peter Sellers plays bungling Indian actor Hrundi V Bakshi who accidently blows up the set of his first Hollywood movie. Studio head Fred Clutterbuck vows that Bakshi will never work in the movies again but unwittingly invites him to his lavish Hollywood party. Sellers is at his inventive best in this loosely structured film, that provides endless clever and witty gags.
