Synopsis:
Suzie Gold (Summer Phoenix) comes from a traditional family firmly entrenched in the Jewish community, where she is pressured not to marry outside her faith. Her younger sister Sophie (Ariana Fraval) is about to tie the knot with a nice Jewish boy, and Suzie is expected to follow suit. When the handsome (and parent-pleasing) Anthony Silver (Iddo Goldberg) asks her out on a date, Suzie feels her love life is finally falling into place. Unfortunately, the date is a disappointment, and Suzie realises that Anthony may not be the one for her after all. Instead, she finds herself falling for Darren (Leo Gregory) who she meets in her new TV production job - the only problem being that Darren isn`t Jewish...
