Synopsis:
Fur trader Joe Bass (Burt Lancaster) embarks on his own war to reclaim his "trade", embezzled from him by bountyseeking Scalphunters. Sydney Pollack`s comic Western, co-starring Telly Savalas and Shelley Winters, erupts into a final showdown which involves a runaway highly-educated black slave, the original Scalphunters, girlfriend of the gang leader and yet more indians to complicate matters - the end result being one brawl after another!
