This almost unknown movie caught my attention because it starred Jude Law, who`s a great actor.
Still, it takes a really exceptional actor to take a dull script and bring it to life. Mr. Law struggles at that, but alas, is not successful.
The story is a mixture of several genres, and is mainly incoherent. The characters are rather flat and don`t evolve at all during the movie.
The video transfer is ok. There are no compression signs and the picture is usually clear of any defects.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is also OK. The surrounds are used occasionally, but this is definitely not the movie to show off your new sound system with.
The menus are still and silent.
The extras include a short behind the scenes look. That`s it.
Bottom line, with a dull script and an almost bare disc, even Law cannot salvage this movie from becoming a big yawner.
