This review is for a local (Israeli) region 2 disc.
I really had high expectations from this movie, mainly due to its impressive cast.
However, I was very disappointed to discover, this movie is nothing short of a typical boring drama-wannabe.
The characters are flat, the story is very slow and goes nowhere. "In life and love, expect the unexpected", or so it says on the package. Well, nothing unexpected happens in this movie.
The video transfer is average. There are several compression signs and the picture isn`t as sharp as it should be. To top it all, the movie is presented in the wrong aspect ratio, making all the characters seem tall and skinny (they wish...).
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is ok. The surrounds are used occasionally, but nothing major.
The menus are animated with sound.
The disc offers no extras at all.
Bottom line - with a nearly non-existent plot, a bad video transfer and no extras to compensate for all of the above, this is definitely a "don`t you dare renting it" title. Avoid.
