Content: If you have seen any of the other American Pie movies then you know what to expect from this movie, more gross out comedy than you can shake a stick at. Jim and Michelle have decided to get married and the rest of the gang are gonna help, plan the wedding. Most of the cast are back but there are a few faces missing from the last two movies, but this gives more screen time to Stifler who is at his best in this one.

Video: As with most new films now the picture is pretty much perfect, not 100% but nothing to complain about here. Presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen.

Audio: Presented in Dolby Digital 5.1, sounds very good but with most of the sound coming from the actors or background music, the surround speakers dont get a big workout. Everything is clear and crisp though.

Extras: 2 commentary tracks, around 22-minutes of deleted scenes with introductions, an outtake reel, Shooting the Bachelor Party: This 9-1/2 minute piece talks about creating the bachelor party sequence, Cheesy Wedding Video: made from production footage, Stifler Speak featurette, Grooming The Groom featurette, Nikki`s Hollywood Journal featurette

Overall: If you are a fan of the first two you will love this, a must own for all fans.

Having enjoyed the first two films boy was I in for a dissapointment! This is almost rubbish, only Tom Green has ever committed worse teen gross-out to film.

The "jokes" are old and played out so is the swearing - thanks Mr Stiffler.

Half the cast appears to be missing (if Oz is such a good mate then why is he never mentioned, ditto for the other absentees?). I can only guess that they read the script and ran away?

At least it`s well presented on the DVD and makes for the quintessential third part of a trilogy that serves to make the first two look better (Star Wars and Godfather).

My advise is to rent and only buy if you really do like it!

The third movie in this nonsense trilogy is occasionally funny, features some (yet not all) of the characters from its 2 prequels, but then again - there`s not a single mention of a pie anywhere in the movie. What a rip-off! :)
The video transfer is good. The colors are nicely saturated and the picture is clear of any defects.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is good. There`s an occasional usage of the surrounds and the sound envelope is pretty good.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include 2 commentaries by the crew, 12 extended and deleted scenes, a behind the scenes look and some outtakes.
Bottom line - go for it, it`s a semi-funny ending (hopefully!) to this silly trilogy.
