Synopsis:
Set in the 48 hours leading up to the catastrophic Battle of the Somme, this is the intense story of young men at war as seen through the eyes of 17-year old Billy Macfarlane (Paul Nicholls).

As the boys wait for the attack, alternately excited and terrified, this group of naive soldiers is forced to confront the reality of the enemy as the suspense reaches breaking point.
