Synopsis:
Kennedy (starring Martin Sheen in the title role) is a powerful drama that covers the tumultuous 1000 days of the JFK Presidency - the abortive invasion of Cuba at the Bay of Pigs, violent racial conflict, the escalation of America`s involvement in Vietnam and the missile crisis. It explores his private life, relationships within the family and with Jackie, the tragic death of their infant son and his chronic womanising, scrutinsied by the FBI under the leadership of J. Edgar Hoover (Vincent Gardenia). Winner of a BAFTA for Best Drama Series and nominated for 3 Golden Globes.
