:) This is a wonderful DVD with an excellent, sharp picture for the most part. The reviewer, Sue Davies, mentions that tarantulas are not native to North America or perhaps only the species of tarantula used in the movie. When I lived in Arizona, a state in the southwest U.S., at times the highways were slick with the crushed bodies of migrating tarantulas, presenting a somewhat unusual driving hazard. My favorite tale is "The Black Cat". While Corman and Matheson do take some liberties with Poe`s original the resulting story is a lot of fun. Lorre gives one of his best performances in one of his infrequent starring roles.
