One of my favourite movies and the reason why Luc Besson became one of the interesting director`s in the world.Natalie Portman makes a great acting job with Jean Reno, who was also great in Mission Impossible, Gary Oldman one of my top 20 actor`s and many others. The video and audio are a nice clear & clean, but no features, once again. This could have been a great dvd, if they would have put some nice extras and visually great menus, but no.

Possibly the best film of the nineties arrives on DVD in not so brilliant form.

The picture quality of this disc is good, colours are nice and vibrant but sadly the transfer is non-anamorphic.

The sound on the disc is good with all the speech heard nice and clearly, plus the soundtrack in this movie is one of the best I`ve heard.

The extra features are non-existent which is a shame, but in the end, the fact that the film is so good makes up for this.

Having read all the reviews for this film, I`m afraid I must disagree with your reviews. I agree with the fact that THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS OF THE 90`S. However when it comes to the disc itself, I would advise you all to go and purchase the International region 1 vesion. This has about 25 extra minutes uncut that the UK will probably never get and the print and sound are far better than the disgraceful region 2 version. An excellent film on a poor UK release, BUY THE REGION 1 VERSION.
