Not much I can say about this movie. Its all about surfing. Anne Marie(Kate Bosworth) is a female surfer who dreams of winning this surf competition and then being on easy street as she is sort of hard up and has to take care of her younger sister. She is young, free willed and stands for what she believes in. It is this that gets her fired from her housekeeping job at the hotel and it is also this that gets the attention of a handsome young football player on holiday there. Romance blossoms but soon Anne Marie faces some tough choices.
Great visuals inc fantastic scenery and waves and surfing and some good eye candy.Picture is great. Crisp and clean all the way through. Sound likewise is decent throughout and there are some really good sound moments.
Disc is loaded with small featurettes which go into female surfing and the making of the movie. They were pretty good. There were some deleted scenes, commentary and some promo material.
All in all, this is really a chick flick and nothing more than eye candy for the lads. Females will enjoy the movie and this is a great disc that is a must buy if you like the movie or are into surfing.
