Synopsis:
Robert Aldrich`s powerful war movie Attack! deals with a company of American soldiers trapped by the Germans during The Battle of the Bulge. Their captain (Eddie Albert) is an abject, psychopathic coward who has a record of exposing his men to danger. When his cowardice turns to sheer panic during combat it becomes necessary for the enlisted men to take things into their own hands. Strikingly photographed, Attack! boasts a strong cast including a brilliant Jack Palance and Lee Marvin and it paved the way for later Aldrich war dramas such as The Dirty Dozen and Too Late The Hero.
