Synopsis:
Co-directed and starring French porn actresses, the ultra controversial Baise-Moi is based on ex-prostitute and director Virginie Despentes` novel of the same name. Violently poetic and sexually striking, Baise-Moi is a tale of female fury and revenge. Manu (Raffaela Anderson) is an underage porn star and Nadine (Karen Bach) a prostitute, but their paths do not cross until Manu`s life is tipped over the edge by being raped and Nadine becomes angry at the world after seeing her best friend being shot.

Following a chance encounter and, with nothing left to lose, the two decide to alter their destinies and take the world by storm by embarking on a rage-filled road trip of explosive sex and murder. Having sex whenever they need and killing whenever they please, they create a media furore and a police man-hunt ensues. Baise-Moi is not for the faint-hearted.

Adapted from the novel of the same name, Baise Moi is nothing but a silly gore fest with no real plot (If there is one, it is the equivelant to the adult Thelma and Louise). This is an excuse to put graphic and repetitive violence(well the violence is shown and the same footage is repeated to make the scene more powerful) along with explicit sex. Expect heads being blown off and (ugly) erections from (ugly) men. The extreme violence looks like something out of a comic book (to name one: Dawn of the Dead). If you like this kind of movie, Baise Moi is for you otherwise don`t bother. If you want a movie with an actual plot, then buy Kill Bill Vol 1, it`s also violent but at least it pays homage to old 70`s kung fu films. This on the other hand pays no homage and is a blood and gore circus.

Video quality is really poor, there`s lots of digital grain everywhere and the flm just feels amateurish with the hand held cameras shaking about like some earthquake at a Richter scale of 8!!!

Sound quality is no better. It sounds really muffled and is really hard to hear. Extras? 1 documentary and an interview. Nothing of anything value.

Avoid this movie like the plague. In fact, Baise Moi is a plague!!!
